Duties and Responsibilities: A medical x-ray technician takes radiographic images of specific parts of a patient's body, which a physician has requested in order to make a diagnosis. They need a thorough understanding of imaging equipment and x-ray procedures and, as they are required to interact with patients, they should also have solid communication skills. Education: In order to be an x ray technician you need at least a certificatge or associates degree. If you want to be more advanced you can go as far as to get a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree. Then, you will need to get a certificate to allow you to practice on real patients.
