Three questions:
- Can people trust me to do the right thing?
- Am i committed to doing my very best?
- Do i treat people the way i want to be treated?

"If the answer to these questions are YES, there is no way you can fail." - Lou Holtz

I disagree with this quote because it isn't true. Sometimes we strive for goals that are unattainable, for whatever reason we just can't accomplish them and end up failing. God has a plan for all of us but that doesn't mean that the plan we want for ourselves is the same one he has for us. His plan for us, is inevitable, no matter how hard we try to strive for something if he doesn't have that planned for us, it won't happen. I believe that our goals are just things we want to accomplish, we can strive to accomplish them and some of us do accomplish them but these three questions play no role in it. Everyone is going to fail at least once in their lives. If you can answer yes to most of these questions than it just means you are a good person, it doesn't mean we aren't going to fail.

Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement "Enthusiasm makes the difference." - Dr. Norman Vincent Peale I agree and partially disagree with this. I agree because it is true. Being enthusiastic makes a big difference in the way you see things. Being enthusiastic makes you excited for things and that can help your mental health cope and become happier. I partially disagree though, because sometimes people can not be enthusiastic because they may be depressed or have another mental illness that makes them not feel enthusiastic. I feel like being enthusiastic makes me feel good. This year, i decided to become more enthusiastic. Ever since then i have looked at the positive things in life. I have been doing this for several months now and i feel happy and i think that has really improved my grades. I enjoy coming to school because i am very enthusiastic about it and want to succeed.
