"Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. Intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when he body is healthy and strong." - President John F. Kennedy

I disagree with this quote. i disagree with this because i have met and seen several people that are very intelligent yet they don't participate in physical activity. I, personally, don't exercise because my body gets tired very fast. I have participated in a sport for several years of my life, yet i have always gotten tired. This quote basically says if you get tired and weak from physical activity then your mind is weak and unable to work to its full capacity. I strongly disagree because the same way i have met people that don't exercise often and are very intelligent, i have also met people that exercise yet aren't very smart. At some point this quote is true but for several people that are physically unable to exercise this quote is almost disrespectful and degrading. This quote is true to some people, but that only depends on their mental and physical health.

Student Success Statement

Student Success Statement "Enthusiasm makes the difference." - Dr. Norman Vincent Peale I agree and partially disagree with this. I agree because it is true. Being enthusiastic makes a big difference in the way you see things. Being enthusiastic makes you excited for things and that can help your mental health cope and become happier. I partially disagree though, because sometimes people can not be enthusiastic because they may be depressed or have another mental illness that makes them not feel enthusiastic. I feel like being enthusiastic makes me feel good. This year, i decided to become more enthusiastic. Ever since then i have looked at the positive things in life. I have been doing this for several months now and i feel happy and i think that has really improved my grades. I enjoy coming to school because i am very enthusiastic about it and want to succeed.
