Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of a teacher is to create a lesson plan and to teach their students what is in the lesson plan.

Educational Requirements: In order to become a teacher you have to have a high school diploma. If you want to be a teacher for elementary you need to get a Bachelor’s degree, that is the minimum requirement. For middle school and high school you need to have a degree in a specific subject.

Salary: The average amount of money a teacher makes in a year is around $56,000 a year.

Demand or need: The demand for teachers is always going to be big. We will always need great teachers to help lead the next generation.

Reflection: I think i would like to go into a career like teaching, i want to be able to help children whether it be like this or medically. I want to be able to make a big impact in the world and people and being a teacher could help me do that.

"My basic principle is that you don't make decisions because they are easy; you don't make them because they are cheap; you don't make them because they're popular; you make them because they're right." - Theodore Hesburgh  This quote is being said by former President of Notre Dame, Theodore Hesburgh. He is saying that all the decisions we make should be driven by the concept that the choice you are making is what is right. Many times people don't make decisions bcause it is the best choice but some people make them because it is what everyone else is doing. Just because everyone else is doing something it doesn't mean that it is automatically wrong, sometimes the popular choice is the best choice.  There have been many times when people have chosen something because it is popular and I don't think that is right. I feel like this quote is something many people should think about when making choices.

Optometry Technician Duties and Responsibilities: Optometry Technicians work as an assistant for an optometrist. They help them conduct tests and treatments. These technicians usually have a responsibility of testing a patients visual acuity, depth perception, pressure in the eye, color vision, and pupil reflexes. They do this to help the optometrist know what ind of treatment the patient will need.  Salary: An optometry technician makes about $30,000 and over. Educational Requirements: In order to become an optometry technician it is required you have a high school diploma, it is required you have completed training, and it is required to have an Associate's degree.  Demand for this career: This profession is expected to grow about 23% in the following years.  reflection: I think this job would be cool, i have seen this job firsthand and i think its interesting.
