"I won't cheat" - Dale Murphy  These three words are very important words to live by. It is important to understand the importance of these three simple words. Following this statement can lead to an honest, fruitful life. I know the impact these words can make beause I have seen how cheating can affect the person commiting the act and the people around them. Cheating can be as simple as looking at someone elses paper to something much bigger. Dale Murphy was a baseball palyer so he knew the importance of not cheating. Dale Murphy was an honest man. He won several of the games he played and did all of that without disobeying the rules of baseball. I have also lived an honest life, throughout my school years I have never cheated on my assignments and tests.  I also had never cheated on a softball game, when i was playing. 

"Character Matters Most" - Dale Murphy This quote is true. The most important part of a person is their character. I think this is true because in this day in age many kids are forgetting this. For example, these passed few months there have been several school shootings. These people have a bad character because no one good would want to bring harm to others. Also, Donald Trump has a bad character because he wants to seperate everyone and has already left many families broken due to his laws. Dale Murphy was a good character because he was always happy on the field and was a happy person. He seemed generous and didn't give  off a negative impression of himself. Many people need to recognize that looks and items aren't everything because in the end, when our time comes, those things won't  matter to anyone. What will matter is how you treated people and your character.

Pediatrician Duties and Responsibilities: A pediatrician is a doctor that specializes in treating children ages 0-21. They help to prevent illness and treat any other medical problems that a child might have. Salary: A pediatrician makes about $100,000 a year and can earn more depending on where and how much experience they have.  Educational Requirements: You will need an undergraduate degree, medical degree, pediatric residency, medical licensing, and certification.  Demand for this career: This career, along with all other doctors is expecting to grow 14% in the upcoming folowing years.  Reflection: I would like to become a pediatrician because I want to help people out and I am more interested in treating kids. 

" Great beauty, great strength, and great riches are really and truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all." - Benjamin Franklin  This quote in my words means, no matter what you look like, how strong you are, or how much money you have, in the ned one of the only things that matters is your heart and how you treat others. This quote can mean many things to anyone but to me it means that in the end the only thing that counts is how you treat others. For example, me and my mom used to always visit retirement homes because we love to spread happiness and positivitity. We would go to the people and made a couple friends with the people there but sadly we dont go anymore, not because we dont want to but because we have been so busy. I hope to go again soon because it really reminded me of this quote since it talks about a good heart exceeding all. Another big example is with my aiblibgs. Pathologist Duties and Responsibilities: The job of a pathologist is to identify diseases and conditions by studying abnormal cells and tissue, they do this for other doctors and their patients. Once they find something they inform the doctors they work for and the doctor will inform their patients. They also preform autopsies on dead people to find out why they died and when they died.  Salary: A pathologist makes about $120,000 a year or over depending on amount of experience and where they are working at.  Educational Requirements: In order to become a pathologist, you need to complete a 4 year college course, 4 years of medical school, and then a pathology residency of 4-5 years.  Demand for this career: This career is expected to grow about 14% in the next couple of years.  Reflection: I think this job is very intetesting, it is interesting because you get to loook at things and make diagnosis off of them. i would like to be one because it is important

"It may make a difference to all eternity whether we do right or wrong today."-James Freeman Clarke I agree with this quote. This quote in my point of view is the choices you make today can follow you throughout your life. The main choice i face everyday today is concerning my grades. Everyday i think about how all my assignments go into my grade. My grade goes into what college i make it into and my future. i make sure to  alway make a good choice when  it comes to that because i know how it can affect me. I have learned from all my older siblings that school comes first and to try hard because your grades will have a domino affect on the colleges i get accepted to. This quote is very true and there are also other times where this quote relates to it. 

"President's Day" What is it?  President's Day is   an American holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February. established in 1885 to remember George Washington, it is still officially called “Washington’s Birthday” by the federal government. Presidents’ Day is now popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents past and present."  When is it? Presidents Day is celebrated on George Washingtons real birthday. George Washington's birthday is on February 22nd, therefore we celebrate President's Day on that day.  What are some ways to show honor and respect on President's Day? Some ways you can show respect and honor the presidents are by writing a letter, spending the day to acknowledge and remember Presidents and you can also take the day off to recognize our past presidents. How can I show respect on President's Day? I can show respect on President's Day by researching the Presidents that have affected our country

"Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act according."                                                                                - Otto Graham  This quote, in my own words, means acknowledge if something is wrong or right and make the best choice. Many times, i have thought about a quote similar to this and i actually make my decisions with a conscious mind and i think about what is right and what is wrong and make sure that drives me to my decision. I like this quote because it is something people don't always do. I feel like some peolpe make decisions and dont really think about the effects the choice will have on them or whoever in the long run. I feel like if people thought about the choices  they make and focus on how it could negatively impact them or someone else, we wouldn't have so much voilence. But sadly, that is not what happens. Instead i make sure i make the right decisions. For example, yesterday at church class I was sitting at a desk and saw

Valentine's Day      Valentine's Day also known as San Valentine's Day and The Feast of Saint Valentine is celebrated on February 14. This day originated from Western Christian feast day which was made to honor one or two early saints named Valentinus. This holiday is used to celebrate love and romance. During this time the sales of flowers, candies, and balloons increases. Also reservations for restaurants increases and restaurants get packed. This day is dated back to the 5th century. This day, in my family, is a day to eat sweets like cookies, brownies, and cake. It is a tradition we have done that helps bring the family together. 

"Act well your part; there all honor lies." - Alexander Pope This quote in my own words means to be responsible and make good choices because lies are bad. The examples given in class weren't even examples because the teacher showed us a video of a little league baseball team that broke a rule without knowing and the teacher said they did it on purpose and that they were horrible people for doing such thing. I think this quote is important, everyone is supposed to be good people and make good decisions. I have experienced this when I was in school, several people ere cheating on a test because we had a sub but I knew that was wrong and I didn't cheat. Making good decisions and living an honest life is very important and effects the people around you positively.  

Osteopathic Physician Duties and Responsibilities: Osteopathic Physicians practice osteopathy which is the idea that moving bones and joints can cause good health Salary: Osteopathic physicians make around $150,000 or more a year.  Educational Requirements: In order to become an Osteopathic Physician you need to go to Osteopathic college and do training Demand or need: It was predicted to grow 20% from 2010 to 2020  Reflection: I would not like to be an osteopathic physician because it does not interest me and i feel like i would get bored doing it. 

"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company." - George Washington I agree with this quote because it is something all of us need to learn and i have experienced things that have convinced me that this quote is true. Several times my mom has told me this quote, but in different words. She has told me that it is best to not have friends because sometimes it is for a reason. Now that I think back maybe the reason why i didn't have many friends at the time that she told me this was due to this quote. I think i did not have many friends throughout middle school because they'd be a distraction towards what i was going to school for, an education. Also when people have friends that don't make a positive influence on them they tend to get into more trouble which can follow them throughout their whole life. I agree with this quote because sometimes many people don't realize how

Orthopedic Surgeon  Duties and Responsibilities: The job of an orthopedic surgeon is to treat and diagnose conditions of the musculoskeletal system. Salary: Orthopedic surgeons make the most money out of all other types of doctors. They make over $500,000 in a year.  Educational Requirements: In order to become an orthopedic surgeon you need to have around 14 years of formal education. Those 14 years include four years of university or college, four years of medical school, a five year residency at a major medical center, and a year in specialty training is common as well.  Demand for this career: This career is predicted to grow 13% in the next couple of years.  Reflection: I think this job is really interesting and this kind of doctor is really needed but, i dont really have in interested in the bones. 

"Right is right, only when entire." Victor Hugo I agree with this quote because it pertains to many things. This quote pertains to people, lies, and actions. The example that was given to us by the teacher was incorrect because it involved Donald Trump. It was an article talking about Trump and his sobriety and how great of a person he was because of it. BUT THAT ISN'T TRUE. It isn't true because Donald Trump is racist and sexist and because of that he isn't completely right which makes him a bad person. This quote is saying that in order for someone to be completely right they need to be 100% good when it comes to everything. I believe a good example of this would be my mom. My mom is a right person all the time. She doesn't drink, is kind to her parents, kind to her siblings, and still has time to care and spend time with her kids.  

Orthodontist Duties and Responsibilities: An orthodontist is a doctor that specializes in fixing teeth. They do this by applying braces. They can also do things like remove teeth to help overcrowding and use special appliances to help better any problems the patient might have.  Salary: An orthodontist makes about $1 60,000 and $240,000 depending on level of experience. Educational requirements: In order to become an orthodontist, the person needs  to complete a four year undergraduate degree, usually in the field of science.  Then they attend dental school and learn everything they have to know there.  Demand for this career: As the population is increasing the need for braces is becoming more and more common so the demand will always be high for this career.  Reflection: I would not like to be an orthodontist because it does not catch my attention.
