Duties and Responsibilities: Athletic trainers work with people of all ages and all skill levels, from young children to soldiers and professional athletes. Athletic trainers are usually one of the first healthcare providers on the scene when injuries occur on the field. They work under the direction of a licensed physician and with other healthcare providers, often discussing specific injuries and treatment options or evaluating and treating patients, as directed by a physician. Some athletic trainers meet with a team physician or consulting physician regularly.
Salary:The median annual wage for athletic trainers was $46,630 in May 2017
Education: In order to go into this career you need a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, and they need a license to practice.
Demand for this career: This career is expected to grow 23% from 2016 to 2026 which is much faster than many other careers.
Reflection: I would not like to be one of these because injuries in the sports field does not interest me.
