The 10 Indian Commandments
1. Treat the Earth and all that dwells therein with respect.
2. Remain close to the Great Spirit.
3. Show great respect to your fellow beings
4. Work together for the benefits of mankind
5. Give assistance and kindness wherever needed
6. Do what you know to be right
7. Look after the well being of mind and body
8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good
9. Be truthful and honest at all times
10. Take full responsibility for your actions

One of the biggest things I notied about these 10 commandments was how mostof them talk about having responsibility for yourself and being respectful to others and everything. I think these commandments are something that should be acknowledged by everyone because when you read and follow these commandments they will lead you in the right direction and you will be seen as a good person. All these commandments focus on how a person could better themselves and be good. My favorite oene of these commandments is the first one. I think it is the most important one because if you do that one then you will be basically doing the rest of them. The first one talks about being kind to the Earth, which is very important because often times its easy to be mean to the Earth and we as a commmunity need to focus more on being kind to the Earth and helping it stay clean. Then it says respect everything and everyone on our planet. I find that especially important because everyone should know to be kind to all animals and all objects

Student Success Statement - 2/14/18

"Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act according."                                                                                - Otto Graham  This quote, in my own words, means acknowledge if something is wrong or right and make the best choice. Many times, i have thought about a quote similar to this and i actually make my decisions with a conscious mind and i think about what is right and what is wrong and make sure that drives me to my decision. I like this quote because it is something people don't always do. I feel like some peolpe make decisions and dont really think about the effects the choice will have on them or whoever in the long run. I feel like if people thought about the choices  they make and focus on how it could negatively impact them or someone else,...

The Effects of Marijuana

Effects of Marijuana 1. Marijuana can affect you in several ways. These ways can be both positive and negative.  Some of the negative affects include: - Rapid heart beat - Increase risk of heart attack  - Increase risk of bleeding - Lowers blood pressure These are only some of the ways that smoking, inhaling, or eating marijuana can affect on your body.   In the past month, 6.5 percent of eighth graders, 16.6 percent of 10th graders and 21.2 percent of 12th graders admitted to marijuana use.  Some of the ways we could help create a non-marijuana using community is by offering help. When using a drug it isn't an easy decision to suddenly decide not to keep doing that drug. They need to slowly get away from it, and even then that isn't easy for some users.  I commit and promise to never use marijuana, ever, regardless of what society says.
