"Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. In addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. Don't do it." -George Mitchell

This quote is being said by the Senate Majority Leader. This man should know a lot about the effects of cheating because if he were to cheat it ould affect several people. I believe many people dont understand the consequence of cheating which is why they do it. They dont realize the harm they are inflicting on themselves and the people around them. I think that the short term gain is not worth the long term pain. I believe that cheating is extremely wrong and should never be done because it  not only affects the person doing the act but also the people around the person.

Student Success Statement "Enthusiasm makes the difference." - Dr. Norman Vincent Peale I agree and partially disagree with this. I agree because it is true. Being enthusiastic makes a big difference in the way you see things. Being enthusiastic makes you excited for things and that can help your mental health cope and become happier. I partially disagree though, because sometimes people can not be enthusiastic because they may be depressed or have another mental illness that makes them not feel enthusiastic. Optometry Technician Duties and Responsibilities: Optometry Technicians work as an assistant for an optometrist. They help them conduct tests and treatments. These technicians usually have a responsibility of testing a patients visual acuity, depth perception, pressure in the eye, color vision, and pupil reflexes. They do this to help the optometrist know what ind of treatment the patient will need.  Salary: An optometry technician makes about $30,000 and over. Educational Requirements: In order to become an optometry technician it is required you have a high school diploma, it is required you have completed training, and it is required to have an Associate's degree.  Demand for this career: This profession is expected to grow about 23% in the following years.  reflection: I think this job would be cool, i have seen this job firsthand and i think its interesting.
