Duties and Responsibilities: Physical therapist assistants (also known as a PTA) work as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist. They help patients recieve the therapy they need under the supervision of a physical therapist.Salary: Physical therapy assistants make about $20 the hour which totals to about $42,980 a year.
Educational Requirements: Physical therapy assistants are required to have an Associate's degree. They also have to take a two year program to completetheir educational requirements.
Demand for this career: This career is in high demand, it is thought to be that in the next following years the job will grow to 40%
Reflection: I would not like to have this career because i want to do something that really interests me and being a physical therapist assistant doesn't seem fun to me.
