Student Success Statement - 2/12/18

This quote in my own words means to be responsible and make good choices because lies are bad. The examples given in class weren't even examples because the teacher showed us a video of a little league baseball team that broke a rule without knowing and the teacher said they did it on purpose and that they were horrible people for doing such thing. I think this quote is important, everyone is supposed to be good people and make good decisions. I have experienced this when I was in school, several people ere cheating on a test because we had a sub but I knew that was wrong and I didn't cheat. Making good decisions and living an honest life is very important and effects the people around you positively.

Student Success Statement "Enthusiasm makes the difference." - Dr. Norman Vincent Peale I agree and partially disagree with this. I agree because it is true. Being enthusiastic makes a big difference in the way you see things. Being enthusiastic makes you excited for things and that can help your mental health cope and become happier. I partially disagree though, because sometimes people can not be enthusiastic because they may be depressed or have another mental illness that makes them not feel enthusiastic. Student Success Statement

"We need the courage to START and CONTINUE what we should do, and the courage to STOP what we shouldn't do" - Richard L. Evans  I agree with this quote for several reasons. This quote is important to remember when we have a task that we want to succeed at. One reason why i agree with this quote is because succeeding is a big part of life, we need to succeed to make sure we make our mark on the world. In order to succeed you have to do what the quote says. In order to succeed you have to follow through with whatever task you're trying to accomplish which is what the quote says. Bad habits are also sometimes really easy to pick up and that is what the quote talks about also. You need to be courageous and stop doing those bad habits because once you realize they are getting in the way of your success and in general well being, both mentally and physically. I have began doing this and i have seen a bigdifference.
