Always Do Right - 11/29/17

"Always do right." - Mark Twain
I agree with this quote for several reasons. I agree because if everyone did what was right and what they were supposed to do the world would be a better place. There have been many times in my life where i have done the right decision and that has helped me avoid making several bad decisions. Decision making isn't always easy. It can be hard but when you think all your options through it is important you choose the one that is most right and will not get you into any trouble. I believe that when everyone finally decides to do whats right, meaning respect all people regardless of their race, sexuality, and religion, we will all be happy and will find it easy to become better people. When everyone becomes a better person, the world will be a better place. There have been several instances where i have chosen what is right, i often times don't feel good i find it very hard to get out of bed and get read to come to school. Because i always do whats right i try my hardest to come to school and not let my health get the best of me. I know that going to school is the best thing for me to do and
the right choice.

"In life as in football, you won't go far, unless you know where the goalposts are."  - Arnold H. Glasgow This quote, in other words, is talking about the importance of setting goals and knowing what exactly you are working towards. I agree with this because setting goals and acknowledging that you have goals is really motivating. I, for example, set goals for myself and work hard to meet all of them. Sometimes, i don't meet all the goals i expect myself to but that just motivates me to work harder. Last year, during 8th grade, i set multiple goals for myself. Some of them were, to get good grades, to complete all my work, and to make sure i am a great student. All of those grades were accomplished and i graduated with a high GPA and many of my teachers thanked me and awarded me for being such a great student.  This year, my goals are to get straight A's so i will have a 4.0 GPA and i want to start volunteering. I agree with this quote greatly because i thi...
